Hi! My Name is Mrs. Dena Hoover. I am excited to be your child’s teacher this school year! I have been married for 20 years, have one daughter, and two grandchildren.

Education
In December of 2015, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education, grades 1-6, from Florida SouthWestern State College. I graduated Magna Kum Laude, a member of KDE and was awarded the Dean’s Award. While attending FSW, In addition to being a teacher, I am a published Author and Public speaker.
I grew up in Greensboro , North Carolina. Although, I have lived in Florida for over 13 years , my southern accent is still evident. As a little girl, I often pretended to teach our family pets and my dolls. I guess you could say, being a teacher was my destiny.
